There are sabre and rapier tournaments in Sydney! On November 21st and 22nd The Old Sword Club is a sabre tournament and a rapier tournament at Harold Park Community Hall (1 Dalgal Wy, Forest Lodge NSW) starting 9.00am each day. The first day will be a sabre tournament based on late 19th century Italian fencing conventions, then the second day will be a rapier tournament using short afterblow rules. We will also be running a social fencing space both days, with a weapon lending library and a source library. Yes, the name is to troll our interstate friends into coming and competing. Come along and join in the fun!
