19th century longsword seminar

The Victorian Era saw the rise of the first HEMA practitioners, leading to the revival of longsword fencing (among other weapons). Two handed swords began to appear as curiosities in public displays of the martial arts and productions of historical dramas. To try encourage the spread Victorian Era HEMA Alfred Hutton devised a simplified longsword method that could be practised in fencing schools along side modern weapons, which will be presented in this workshop.
